This docking station will work with any Intel, M1, M2, or M3-based Mac laptops and computers; however, it will only support 3 displays.

Intel, M1 Pro, and M1 Max chips for Mac computers can support two displays via their Thunderbolt ports. Unfortunately, these extra display connections do not support using Multi-Stream Transport (MST) DisplayPort to connect multiple displays. As such, the HDMI 3 and 4 connections on the back of the docking station will Mirror the two displays rather than extending them each to their own unique desktop. This results in the Mac host essentially supporting a single display rather than two for the HDMI 3 and 4 connections.

Displays connected to HDMI ports 1 and 2 utilize DisplayLink technology over USB 3.0 Using the included host cable. It should be noted that you will need to install and set up the DisplayLink manager before these two displays will work.
