Why the Monitor May Require an External Power Source
Small devices, such as phones or tablets, may not be able to provide the necessary 15W of power through their USB-C ports.
How to Power the Monitor Without Sufficient Host Power
If the host device cannot provide 15W, the monitor must be powered by an external power source. This can be achieved by using a charger that supports USB Power Delivery at a minimum of 15W.
