Display and Power Requirements

To use the monitor with a smartphone or tablet, the device's USB-C port must support DP Alt Mode (DisplayPort Alternate Mode) for video output.

Additionally, the monitor requires 15W of power to operate. While the USBC-PDMON can be powered directly through the USB-C connection if the mobile device can deliver at least 15W, many smartphones and tablets cannot output this amount of power. In these cases, an external power supply (such as a charger supporting USB Power Delivery at 15W or higher) must be connected to the monitor's power input.
