Why Is the Blue LED on My Plugable Adapter Not Turning On?

The blue LED indicates that the adapter is physically connected and communicating with the computer. The light should come on, at least momentarily, even before drivers are installed.

Why the Blue LED May Not Turn On

When the adapter is connected to a PC, the blue LED lights up when the PC communicates with it, showing that the adapter is physically connected and responding to the PC.

If the blue LED does not light up, the adapter may not be receiving a connection from the USB port or may not be communicating properly with the computer.

How to Troubleshoot the Blue LED

Try connecting the adapter to a different USB port on the computer. If the light still does not come on, restart the computer and test the adapter again.
