How Does Charging Work With the TBT3-UD1-85W?

Connect the included Thunderbolt 3 cable between your computer and the Thunderbolt 3 host port on the back of the dock. The correct port is identified by the laptop icon above it.

The dock can provide up to 85W of charging power through this connection.

Not all Thunderbolt 3 computers support charging through their Thunderbolt 3 ports. Some higher-powered laptops and mobile workstations may also require more power than the dock can provide and may need to use their original power adapter.
